How are you these days? This term I have many new subjects like geography and history. They are interesting and useful. On school days, I always have seven classes in a day and I go to the music club every Tuesday afterschool. I learn how to play the guitar there. It's not easy for me. But I make some new friends there. Oh, I forget to tell you that my favorite subject is math. And I am good at it. I always help my classmates with math after class. Next week we will have a math test. I wish to get the first place. I think my school life is really great.

It's ten o'clock at night now. My father is still working on the computer. He is really busy from Monday to Friday. My mother is making the bed for me. I miss you and Grandma very much. The day after tomorrow is Saturday. I will call you then.

Welcome to Shanghai! It is a beautiful and modern city in China. It is also one of the biggest cities in the world. There are many tall buildings, great bridges and busy streets everywhere. It isn't easy for you to find your way if you are new here. Don't worry! You can read the map first and take the underground to the places you want to visit. It also has lots of taxis in the whole city. You can get to any place by taxi. Walking along the streets, you can realize the city changes very fast.

Shanghai is famous for shopping, eating and traveling. Traveling around Shanghai is cheap and easy. Look! Many people are walking quickly because it's rush hour. If you want to cross the Huangpu River, you can choose taxis, buses, ferries(渡船)or underground. Going by ferry is the cheapest way. In Shanghai you can taste all kinds of Chinese food. If you want to enjoy different operas, Shanghai Opera House is the best place. So you see, the people in Shanghai are busy but happy!
