At 8:30   My parents and I are taking the bus to my grandparents' house. Today is Thanksgiving Day(感恩节). Everybody wants to be with his family on Thanksgiving Day.

    At 9:45   At my grandparents' home, my grandmother is cooking turkey(火鸡肉) and some fruit salad. My grandfather is making fish and ice-cream.

    At 10:20   We are sitting in the living room. The doorbell(门铃) is ringing. My uncle, aunt and cousin are outside(在……外面) the door. My uncle is taking some apple pies and my aunt is taking some fried potatoes. My parents and I bring some cakes here, too. There are so many good things to eat!

    At 12:10   We are all sitting at the table. Before the meal, we all spend about one minute giving our thanks to people or good things.

    At 13:40   My mother and my aunt are washing the dishes. My father and my uncle are watching TV and my grandparents are playing with a ball with my cousin and me. Everybody has fun. It is really a good Thanksgiving Day.

Dear Dad and Mom,

    How are you? I'm happy here, but I miss you very much. It's Sunday today. I don't have classes. I am writing an e-mail to you in the computer room now. There are lots of students here. Some students are talking with their friends on QQ. Some students are playing computer games. Some students are watching movies on computers. My new friends, Peter and Bill, are here with me. Peter is buying a T-shirt on the Internet. And what is Bill doing? Oh, he is reading a book on the computer. They're friendly and they often help me with my study and life. When you come to Shanghai, I want you to meet them. I'm OK in Shanghai. Please don't worry (担心) about me. I hope you are happy and well.

    Today is the first day of the week. In the afternoon, Mr. Read is driving his car to his sister's school. Now he is very near the school. But he doesn't know the way to it. At this time, he sees a young woman. Mr. Read comes out of his car and goes to her." Excuse me! Where's the school, please?" he asks. The young woman says," It's very near here. I want to go with you."

    Now the young woman is sitting in the car. Soon they come to a small house and she says," Stop, please!" Mr. Read stops the car and says," But this is not a school." "No," says the young woman," this is my house. I want to get home early before supper time. Thanks for driving me home. The school is behind the factory. So go back to the factory and then turn right, and you can find the school."
