Here is some information about some of the wonders of the world. I am sure you will be interested in them.

●The Pyramids of Egypt

There are about eighty pyramids known today. The most well-known is for Pharaoh (法老) Khufu. . It is known as the "Great Pyramid". It's also the largest one. Workers used about 2. 3 million blocks of stones to build it. (1)人们用了20年的时间才建成。

●The Hanging Garden of Babylon

The garden sat on a hill. It was a large and wonderful structure (建筑物). Many parts of the garden were high up on large columns (支柱). There were many big and green trees with lovely flowers. Although there are many different ideas about it, we are not sure whether this wonder ever existed (存在)!

●The Lighthouse of Alexandria

The Lighthouse of Alexandria was designed about 2, 000 years ago. It was in Egypt, too. It was one of the ancient wonders of the world, about 135 metres high. It was once the highest building in the world. Although it doesn't exist now, many people come to see its relic (遗迹) every year.

Speaking of the world's smallest countries, people probably think of Liechtenstein. Today I had a (讨论)about this small country with my friends.

Liechtenstein is one of the smallest and (最富有的)countries in the world. It lies between two famous countries, Switzerland and Austria. Like Switzerland, the big and important business of Liechtenstein is tourism. (虽然)there is no international airport in Liechtenstein, it is still popular. Visitors can (容易地)get to the country by bus from Switzerland. They would like to come to enjoy the (大自然的) beauty in Liechtenstein.

Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein, is not a popular tourist place, but (数百万的) visitors would like to visit its Vaduz Castle (瓦杜兹城堡). This (人造的)place was built in the 12th century.  (然而), the castle is not open to visitors. Nearby visitors can see one of Vaduz's top landmarks ( 地标), the Red House.

Visitors can see it from a long distance (距离) because it is  (在.....上面)a mountain.

Sydney Opera House is a wonderful building. It is famous not only in Australia, also in the world.

Maybe you don't know people (build) it with 6,225 square metres of glass and 645 (kilometre) of electric cables(电缆). It is 183 metres long and 120 metres wide. It is made up of (third) parts-- the office of opera, concert hall and Benelong restaurant. The most amazing thing about it is the roof(屋顶). It is made of more one million white granite tiles (花岗岩瓷砖). You will feel (surprise) when you look up and see the roof. Some people say the Sydney Opera House (look) like huge shells. Some people describe it as sections of  orange. Most people think that the Sydney Opera House is a huge sailing boat. It's a (real) fantastic wonder. Do you think so?
