My First Experience of Being Home Alone

As teenagers, we all had an experience of being home alone. But life isn't always as  as we think. Here I'd like to my first experience of being home alone.

When I was 12, my parents went to another town to look after my sick grandfather. I had to be home all by for 24 hours. At first, I was a little .

But soon I forgot about it because I threw myself into an interesting book. I the whole morning reading it. At noon, I took the food out of the fridge and heated it. Mum had cooked a lot of food she left. In order to prove that I could myself, I washed my clothes in the afternoon. In the evening, I finished my homework. At night, after watching a movie on TV, I went to bed at 10: 30.

Being home alone was not as difficult as I thought. I felt of myself. My first experience of being home alone has made a big difference to me. I have become more and more confident and independent.

What amazing story! But as we all know, it is always not easy to achieve dreams. What she did was working and practising hard. When she was in the face of many (problem), she showed that she was brave enough. She never thought of giving up and always tried to overcome (克服) them one by one. However, Bethany has heard lots of bad words. Instead of making her upset, those words have encouraged her _(be) better than everybody thought she would be.
