One day a man bought a lot of coconuts(椰子). He (put) them all on his horse. He was moving (they) to his friend's house. On way, the man met a boy." How long would it take (get) to the house?" he asked the boy.

"If you go (slow)." the boy said" you will get there very soon.56. if you go fast, it will take you all day."

"What a funny answer!" said the man. He did not listen to the boy. He (make) his horse run as fast as possible. Some coconuts fell off. He had to stop (pick) them up. Then be made his horse run fast again. But the coconuts fell off again, and he stopped again.

He did this many (time), and it was night when he finally got to his (friend) house.

What are these large blue and white birds? They're Canada birds. When autumn arrives, they have to fly south where the weather is warm. The winters are so cold in Canada that the birds will lose their lives if they stay there.

Last spring, however, a farmer named Jason found sixteen young Canada birds on his farm. They lost their parents. Jason thought, "These 'young birds won't know what to do in the autumn."

Jason had a small plane and he decided to teach the birds to follow him. All through the summer, he went on short trips in his plane and the young birds followed him.

When the cold weather arrived in autumn, Jason flew to Virginia in the United States, about 300 kilometers south of his home in Canada. The birds followed him all the way. Jason left the birds in Virginia and he returned home.

This spring, Jason was waiting for the birds to comeback. They didn't arrive, so Jason flew to Virginia to get them. He looked for them for two weeks but he couldn't find them.

When he arrived back home, he found the birds waiting for him. They had found their way home without him!
