    Do you know The Snowy Day? It is a (n)  children's picture book. It was written and illustrated (给书加插画) by Ezra Jack Keats.

    The story  in a big city. The  character is Peter. He was the first African American leading character  in children's picture books.

    One day, as Peter wakes up, he finds there is snow . Peter gets very excited. He goes outside and spends his day making a snowman, snow angels, and pretending (假装) to be mountain climber. He  of many new ways to enjoy a snowy day and has a dream-the sun  out and melts (使融化) all the snow. However, to his joy (令他高兴的是), it's  snowing after he wakes.
