    I'm going to have a party for my 16th birthday! Mom and Dad  to let me have a party here at home. Well, it's just three weeks to go before my party.

    I'm really looking  to it. I'm going to invite a lot of friends to my party. And I will write the  to them this evening.

    I'm going to ask Alan and Sam  their CDs so that we can dance to the music. Mom will  the food for the party. Now I have to think about  to wear.

    Here is my party . It's a nice dress. I'm going to wear my hair up on  of my head, because that will make me look very smart.

    The house also  lovely. I decorated the house with colored paper and . It looks more beautiful. I hope to have fun!

    It is Sunday morning. I get up early, because today is a special day. It is my sister Joyce's 16th birthday. My father and brothers went to Paris to visit my grandparents last week.  Now Joyce is still sleeping on her bed. She stayed up late last night. My mother and I decide to do some things for her today.

    First, we are going to prepare a special breakfast for her.  She is going to cook bacon (培根) for Joyce. It's Joyce's favorite food. I think she will like it.

     I'm sure Joyce will be surprised and happy when she sees the cake with the words "Happy Birthday to Joyce" on it.

    Next, we are going to the supermarket to buy a present and some flowers for her.  So we will buy her a beautiful skirt.

    Finally, we will have a party for her tonight.  It's a pity that my father and brothers are not at home, but I believe we will enjoy ourselves today.

    Having a surprise party is very popular. Most people are to have a surprise party for their family and friends. Do you know what a surprise party is ? Let me give you an example.
